Eating a clean diet is a huge part of being healthy overall! To help you get started and stay committed, I’m taking things Back To Basics. Eating healthy doesn’t require any tricks, gimmicks, magic pills, or expensive supplements. It’s really a simple science!
We will start by documenting our current nutritional habits. Knowledge is power. You need to know exactly what you’re putting into your body before you can make effective changes. After documenting and reflecting, I’ll teach you how to set solid long term and short term goals. You might be thinking, “I’ve done all of this before, and it didn’t work!” Don’t worry. I’ve been there. To combat the endless cycle of starting and falling off the wagon, we will also focus on changing specific behaviors. You may not notice it right now, but we all have triggers that influence our behaviors, especially when it comes to food. Learning the ABC’s of behavior change will give you the tools to make sustainable lifestyle changes.
If you have already mastered the steps above, congratulations! You’re well on your way to living a healthy life. But, even at this point, you may struggle with finding quick and healthy recipes that sustain you AND taste amazing. With this Back To Basics series, we will explore many different whole food options (like healthy snacks), recipes, and tips for meal prepping.
