DIY Sushi Bowl

I am a sushi lover. I could eat it everyday if my coins would allow. Haha! Making sushi at home is cool, but I eat A LOT of food which means I need several rolls. Frankly, I’m too lazy for all of that. My quick fix is making a deconstructed sushi bowl! I have my personal favorite down below, but add or take away from my recipe to fit your own taste buds.

INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup rice (white, brown, or black)

1 small cucumber, cubed

1 whole carrot, julienned

2 stalks of green onion, sliced

1/2 avocado, sliced or cubed

2 nori sheets, crumbled(ish)

1 tbs of low sodium soy sauce optional*

Ginger to taste

  3. Enjoy!

I hope you love this minimalistic meal as much as I do! Remember, you can tweak it to match whatever sushi roll you like. Just have fun with it πŸ™‚
