Ginger Beet Juice

Hey guys! This juice recipe is great to aid your body in it’s natural detox processes. The highlighted ingredient is the BEET. These root veggies have betaine, which helps the liver cells eliminate toxins; pectin, a fiber which clears the toxins that have been removed from the liver so they don’t reincorporate back into the body; and betalains, pigments with high anti-inflammatory properties to encourage the detoxification process.



1 medium orange, peeled and quartered

3 kale leaves, stems removed

1 medium apple, core removed

1 medium carrot, peeled

1 large beet, peeled and cut into wedges OR use pure, organic beet juice

1 1-inch piece peeled fresh ginger

ice cubes (optional)


Juice ingredients OR blend and strain with a cheese cloth if you do not have access to a blender. When straining the juice, wear rubber gloves to avoid staining on your hands.

No need to go on a special cleanse or detox. Your body handles that every day when it’s functioning properly! Be sure to add plenty of whole foods and water in your diet to aid in the process that’s already set up to keep you clean 🙂
