Good morning, Tribe! It’s that time again to start a new week. What better way to get going than with a protein packed smoothie bowl?? In this recipe, I tried a new protein powder: Raw Protein & Greens Organic Plant Formula by Garden of Life. It’s completely plant based (vegan) with 20g of protein and 6 veggies. I picked up a sample pack for $1.65 to try it out…and I love it!
1 small pack or 1 scoop raw protein & greens (from Garden of Life)
1/4 tsp spirulina powder
1 small handful of spinach
2-3 frozen bananas
For garnish: pecans & raspberries
- Blend all ingredients excluding the “garnish”.
- Pour into bowl.
- Top with your favorite nuts & berries.
- Eat up!
This bowl had a simple, sweet flavor. It’s a great way to include more greens into your diet without a lot of effort! The raw protein is also a quick way to boost your protein intake for the day if you’re in a hurry to get out of the door.
