What’s up, Tribe?! This evening I decided to make a patriotic smoothie bowl to celebrate the 4th of July. It’s a simple recipe that will work wonderfully as a healthy dessert on a HOT day like this. (Texas heat is no joke.) Well, let’s get to it!
2 frozen bananas
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup beet juice
1 dash of your favorite protein powder
1/4 cup blueberries for garnish
- Blend the first 3 ingredients until smooth. Pour into bowl.
- Top it off with fresh or frozen blueberries & a dash of your favorite protein powder. (I added the protein powder last for the themed picture. Feel free to blend it instead of stirring it in for a smoother result.)
