Hey, Tribe! Today we’re getting our extra dose of greens in liquid form. I’m a smoothie & juice lover, so I thought it was very fitting. ❤ As usual, this recipe is PACKED with vitamins and nutrients that will add fuel to your body without costing an arm and a leg or a lot of time.
1 cup orange juice
2 cups mixed/frozen strawberries, pineapple, peaches, mango
1 tsp spirulina
1 tbs barley grass powder
- You know the deal. Blend it up! 😉
Spirulina is one of my favorite “super foods” but it has a very strong flavor. The first time I tried it, I thought it was fish food… With that being said, start out with a tiny amount (1/3 tsp*) in your juices and smoothies. The fruit will mask the taste. Over time, you’ll be able to add more and still fully enjoy your drink. Just ease into it!
