Turmeric Tonic

Last week was really a great experience for me, and I’m back at it again.

Today I’m sharing a recipe for one of my favorite drinks. It’s like sunshine in a glass! It’s full of nutritious ingredients, but the star of the show is turmeric. Turmeric is a powerful herb that helps fight disease and inflammation in the body. Making this tonic is an easy way to get a little more turmeric in your everyday life.

INGREDIENTS

fresh turmeric root

fresh ginger root

fresh lemon juice

freshly squeezed orange juice

black pepper

cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend it up with water and add honey to taste if desired.

A note… I make 1 L at a time and drink it over the course of a few days.
